No appointment needed for tire changeovers
Whether your seasonal tires are on their own rims or need to be mounted, you don’t need to book. Just come in during open hours at Parkdale, Macleod Trail or Okotoks. There’s no need to drop off your vehicle, and the work is done right in front of you.
When to switch to winter tires in Calgary and Okotoks
A commonly cited guideline is the 7°C rule of thumb: once daytime temperatures stay at or below about 7°C, it’s a good time to put winter tires on. That is roughly where all-season and summer tires start to lose grip as the rubber stiffens.
In Calgary and Okotoks, cold snaps and early snow can arrive with little warning, so watch the forecast rather than a fixed date. In spring, the same guideline works in reverse: switch back once temperatures are consistently above about 7°C.

Do I need an appointment for a tire changeover?
No. Tire changeovers on or off rims need no appointment. Just drive in to any Lube Town + Tires location in Calgary (Parkdale or Macleod Trail) or Okotoks during open hours.
Which Lube Town + Tires locations do tire services?
All three: Parkdale (10 Parkdale Crescent NW, Calgary), Macleod Trail (4007 Macleod Trail SW, Calgary) and Okotoks (181 North Railway Street, Okotoks).
Can I get my tires changed and my oil changed in the same visit?
Yes. You can get your seasonal tires on at the same time you get your oil changed, so one stop takes care of both.
